Driver Course FAQ

How do I register for driving school courses?

Our in-class driving school courses can be done without a G1 license. We offer nine different driving lesson courses. You can even complete the driving course that some students complete in a classroom via our online portal from the comfort of your home. To sign up for a course, send Central Driving School an email or a message https://centraldrivingschool.ca/contact/

Can I join the course at any time?

Yes! We are open seven days a week and would be happy to have you register with us. Just give us a call or email and check for availability.

How do I get a driving instructor and schedule in-car lessons?

Once you complete your in-class or online classroom driving courses, you can sign up for the in-car driving course of your choosing. We offer six packages for students from essential to winter in-car driver training in Edmonton for you to select. Some of these packages also include in-class lessons. Go to our Driving Lessons Page to see which session works for you and send us an email or call to check the availability.

When do I book my road test?

For each road test, you must go to www.drivetest.ca and follow the instructions to book at a DriveTest center near your location.

Does Central Driving School offer drop off and pick up?

Yes, when you take in-car driving lessons, depending on the location, your instructor will pick you up from your home and drop you back off at your home after lesson completion.

For the road test, should I present my driving school completion certificate?

Yes, a paper copy of the certificate is required on the day of the road test. You can receive your certificate from Service Alberta, which you can use to show your insurance company.
